During the course students can engage with each other and with the instructor. To engage during the course, go to the Chat button in the top right corner.
You will see the following options as icons:
- Insert emoji
- Add a gif
- Embed a video – Here you can embed a video using a Youtube, Wistia, Vimeo or Loom link.
- Add a document
- Add a picture
- Ask AI – You can get suggestions or ask AI to correct your writing etc.
- Upload a video/audio
- Record a video – This will open your camera and you can record directly from your computer/phone.
- Record a voice note
In this example, text and a gif have been added to the chat discussion.

If you would like to turn off this chat feature, go to Course Settings, Discussions and toggle off Enable course discussions.

Once your settings have been added or updated, select Update course.
