Managing Space Members

You might want to search for a member in your community in order to:

If you'd like to find a member in your community, you can search for their name by going to your Space name and View Members.

You can then add their name into the search box.

Here you can start a private chat with them by going to the speech bubble on the right.

To change a member’s permission settings, go to View Members and amend their permission settings. Please read this article for more information about the different roles within a Space.

In this step, you can also disable a member’s access to your Space and email them.

You might want to move a member to a different Space, if for example you’d like them to be in more than one Space but you don’t want them to have to manually join two or more groups.

To move a member, go to your Space name and View Members. Then, hover over the member from the member list and click Move Member.

Use this screen to move / remove members from spaces.

Note: The user will still remain in the original Space. To remove them from the original Space, you will need to remove them from a Space.
