How to Edit Your Hub Settings

When you setup a Space, you will be prompted to choose a Hub template. This will automatically create some Hubs for you. However, you might want to rename them or amend the settings of each Hub.

To do this, go to your Hub and select the Settings icon in the top right corner.

You then then do the following:

  • Edit the Hub name and icon.
  • Add the Hub description.
  • Set your Hub permissions for members (see below).
  • Select whether you would like members to receive notifications (see below).

Setting Hub Permissions for Members

You might have a Hub where you want members to have specific permissions, so for example if you have a Hub where you want them to view content but not reply like in a content library. You can change these settings per Hub.

These permissions include the ability for members to be able to:

  • Post and Reply
  • Post only
  • Reply only
  • View only

Notifications for Members

You can edit whether you would like notifications to be sent to members. Please note members can still opt out of emails if they prefer.

These settings include the following notifications to be sent to members:

  • All notifications
  • Posts only
  • Replies only
  • No notifications

You can also convert your Hub to a Private Group. When you are ready, Apply Changes.
