Managing Your Space Settings
Please note only the owner of the Space can edit the Space settings. Please read this article about membership roles.
Even once a Space is set up, you can make edits to your Space settings. To edit your settings go to your Space name, Settings and Administration and Space Settings, then follow the steps below.
Here you can do the following to your Space:
- Add a logo
- Add your Space name
- Give your Space a color to make it more recognizable
- Give your Space a purpose
- Decide if you want your Space to have a Card or Feed Layout (you can also change this per Hub if you like).
- Decide if you’d like to create a Group or 1:1 Space.
- Toggle whether you’d like members to be able to invite others.
- Toggle whether you’d like to ask for your member’s consent to access their content. You can edit the consent text if you’d like to.
User Experience
- Post types - Select what type of posts you’d like to support in your Space. Choose from Video, Voice and Text, or Video and Voice only.
- Inline captions - Select whether you would like to show inline captions in your videos. Choose between Always show, Show when muted, or Never show.
- Recording countdown - Select whether you would like to have a countdown before recording begins and how long you’d like it to be.
- Hub sorting - Select whether you’d like your Hubs sorted manually or the most recent posts at the top.
AI Assist
Toggle whether you’d like to Swarm to automatically generate titles and summaries and also cut out silences and filler words like um or ah. This feature might not be available on all plans.
