When you set up a Hub, you can add topics that you would like your members to select before posting. These help with organization and filtering topics. In this example I chose “Big Ideas” and “Things I love.” As the admin, I can make it a requirement that members select a topic before posting.
Once I have added these topics, you will see them at the top of the Hub and posts can be filtered using these topics.
When a member tries to post, if you have selected that they are required to select as topic (as above) the post options will be greyed out until they select a topic. Once selected they can select a post type and create their post.
Please note, you can also add topics to your posts that have already been posted without topics. To do this, go to the post and Set Topics. Then select the associated topic.
