You might not want your members to be notified about each and every new post, especially in very active communities. So, you can control the notifications members of your Space receive.
As the Space admin, you can specify the activity that triggers notifications to your members at either the Space level or for a specific Hub.
When Would This Be Useful?
- As a coach, you might want Space members to receive notifications about your posts only.
- If you ask members to post videos as part of homework or course assignment, instead of all members receiving alerts for every submission, you can turn this off.
How to Edit These Settings
- Go to Space Settings & Administration and Member Notifications.
Here you can toggle whether you would like members to receive notifications for:
- New posts from other members.
- New posts from admins and moderators.
- Replies to their posts.
- Direct messages and mentions.
You can also select how you would like to receive email notifications: instantly, daily or weekly.
